I'm very pleased to welcome Debra Kayn today. Her new book, Margot's Lawman was released last week.

Although I’ve timed my blog visits to coincide with
the release of Margot’s Lawman, the 3rd book of the Sisters of
McDougal Ranch series, I’d like to talk a little about sisters. I’ve had many
people ask me why I’ve written a book about five sisters who live in the small
fictional town of Pike, Montana. I usually tell them it’s because I know small
town, I know country living, and I know families.
What I didn’t know about is having sisters of my own.
I grew up with only having brothers. In my research, I found that having
sisters was a lot like having brothers, except for a few small differences.
Sisters are more judgmental.
Sisters will cry with you, without trying to fix the
problem.
Sisters understand the importance of chocolate and
pms.
Do
you have a sister? What does she do for you that no one else can? Is having a
sister different than having a brother?
